Here is a little something that I've designed, let me know what you think of it!



Based on an air-cooled Porsche engine, I've left all of the mechanical elements exposed, allowing you to watch the crankshaft push the pistons in the correct firing order. A fan is connected to the hand crank with an o-ring as the belt.

This was 3D printed in a material called aluminide, which is nylon infused with aluminum. After printing, it is polished to a fine surface finish and assembled and tested by hand.
