you can try brim imports ( http://www.brimsimport.com/ )
they are the one of the sponsors for our team and always have hard to find parts, you'll have to call them for pricing, i'm not sure how competitive the prices will be though on your vw.
they are the largest auto "dismantler" in the ohio region.
this may or may not help you but it's worth a shot.

Most of the items you are looking for are dealer parts, not common repair items. Collision parts are not cheap. Though, $175 for a foreign car radiator doesn't sound too bad to me.

If I'm not mistaken, the wholesaler that Wayne is putting up a retail front for is Worldpac. The same company my local wrench uses for replacement parts; it is a really great outfit. But they only stock wear items like tie rods, alternators, CV joints, gasket kits, bearings, rings, brake discs, yada yada. There's lots of volume in that.

That said, there are VW dealers that will give you "better" prices on parts. Not great, but better. Pick up one of the VW rags or a copy of European Car, and look in the back. You'll find dealers that have mail order departments, as well as foreign car wreckers that may be able to get you suitable used parts for your collision repair.

No insurance? Or are you trying to keep part of the settlement with DIY work?
