Silent or Clicky?
 
Keyboards.

I've been using an old IBM Thank=Pad keyboard, which has the TrackPoint built in. I just replaced it with a daskeyboard "blue". Pretty darn clicky. You hear and feel a tactile response to the keys being pressed.

Getting used to the sound. All of my older keyboards are silent.

What do you prefer?

Silent. Especially in an office where you have a zillion people all typing at the same time.

I like the tactile feedback of the mechanical Cherry switches, but I could do without the sound.
