A browning Citori!

Just fits me the best. I hold it up and it just lines up with my eye perfectly.

Quail and with a pair of turkey chokes, this may be my go to gun. I might need to clear some inventory soon.
When's the next SoCal clay pigeon crush?

This completes my gun grab ;)
( got my 257 weatherby to CA, never shoot it anymore. )

Nice I have the same shotgun. Gotta look at another skeet day.

winders 02-01-2015 08:06 AM

Is that a Citori Satin Hunter? I used to have a Citori XS Skeet which was a great gun.

Aurel 02-01-2015 08:11 AM

I have never seen brown clitori...

porsche4life 02-01-2015 08:27 AM

Very nice vash! If I bought another shotgun, that would be it.

Its mark "special steel". I got it for the 3" shells. Just for toppling big turkey.

Need to run the serial to see if it is a type 3. But I got the gun free. It could be a type J for all I care. :)

porsche4life 02-01-2015 08:40 AM

Free? You bastard!

lowyder993s 02-01-2015 11:02 AM

I'm ALWAYS up for a blast like we did a couple years ago (Thx Hugh). Would be great if there was a magical weekend where Vash (Cliff), Porsche4life (Sidney) and BR Porsche (Tom) could all be around. Youze 3 need talk it out and make something happen! If not, 2 of 3 would still be good...I'm just not saying which one of the three wouldn't be missed! ;)

cashman 02-01-2015 11:45 AM

Phew, I thought it read browning clitori. :D

Nice gun.

cabmandone 02-01-2015 11:57 AM

Nice gun but "free" DAMN I never get that kind of luck.

on2wheels52 02-01-2015 12:27 PM

I've had a 20 ga Citori White Lightning quite a while. I like it for the different choke tubes but usually grab the Superposed.

I've had a 20 ga lightning for over 20 years. One of the few that I bought new. I wanted one with 28" barrels so I had to order it.

How the heck do you get a gun that nice for free ? Great score I would love to own that gun.

legion 02-01-2015 01:15 PM

I'll pick one up at some point...

Bill Douglas 02-01-2015 01:29 PM

God bless John Moses Browning.

Mr. Benelli too for that matter :D

It would be fun, but someone would have to loan me a shotspoon. Mine is back in OK. And the shooter is a bit rusty. I was a consistent 20/25 on the trap range when I was 14 or 15. But it's been over a year since I've even picked up a shotgun. Many more than that since I shot moving stuff regularly.

Bill Douglas 02-01-2015 10:12 PM

Haha, I hadn't shot clays for over 40 years until yesterday. It was fun!!! I was getting five out of six I guess. Some took four shots though
