Anyone else appreciate looking at hood reflections while driving?

It was only a few years ago that I started really started appreciating that some cars have very pleasing curves from a driver's perspective. The first car that I really noticed this was on an Alfa Romeo Spider I had about 10 years ago. I was driving along and leaned forward for some reason and looked out across the hood. Wow! It really struck me how beautiful the lines were and how mesmerizing the reflections were as they moved along and over the curved fenders and cowl.

Now I look at the hood (or bonnet for my English cars) almost every time I drive on a back road. The older cars have beautiful lines and curves....

1976 911: I love the way the fenders are so pronounced . The dropping hood really accentuates the curves of the fender.

1969 MGCGT: This is the rare 6 cylinder version of the MGB. Notice the extra bump on the bonnet required to clear the carbs. I love the multiple curves...



1986 Ferrari Mondial: The car makes beautiful sounds; however, the curve action is MIA

911 is both beautiful and functional: the hood drops off for a good view of the road in front and the fenders help give a side to side reference.

Sure do. Sometimes i scoot my seat all the way up and hunch up close the steering wheel to get a close up view. its really a cool feeling like driving a gokart or video game. not my pic but it fits
