Yes! Great car and great color.

For the record, I also have a GREEN motorcycle and I have been severely ridiculed for that as well.

If he can drive it for 1 year with no accidents or tickets, I will get him something to compensate.....F-250 4x4 diesel with stacks.

I don't think I want a Boxster for the lack of usable space, and utility, let alone the yellow paint job.....NO.

holy cow man, I think I'd have to step in there and sell/trade the vw.

dave 911 02-03-2015 04:28 AM

Heck yeah! That color rocks.

Coming from a guy that owns a baby blue (Copaflorio) 911 targa. . . :)

I've always liked yellow cars, my vette was yellow. Having said that, I wouldn't go of my way to find a yellow car any longer, but it wouldn't turn me away either. So yes, I like the Boxter in speed yellow.

I don't mind driving a yellow car

But the boxster was designed for someone a little more ....... petite than me.

IOW I doan fit gud in that little car.

I see a yellow car and I see "girl" written all over it. Sorry if this offends.

creaturecat 02-03-2015 08:04 AM

Yes. Looks great.

My wife was so pissed I did not buy that.

I'm just 100% no go on a yellow car...

Yellow does nothing for the lines of a car

Macroni 02-03-2015 09:55 AM

I would hold out for an S......

scottmandue 02-03-2015 10:14 AM

I voted yes...
But then I'm a Miata driver ;)...
And before that I drove a 944 (miss that car :()
So I obviously don't care much what other people think about what I drive.

I own a black Miata with a supercharger. Fun car, and a real eye opener to drive.

I could rock a yellow Boxster. As an adult male, people don't give me much grief.

Just looking at your poll shows you are wide open to chick car comments.

widebody911 02-04-2015 06:32 AM

Yeah, probably...

I don't mind a yellow car.

The Boxster is a great car.

The Boxster is a convertible. I drove a convertible for over 20 years. I don't ever want to own a convertible again. They make a coupe version and call it Cayman. I would drive one of those for sure. I would have to sell my 911 to have the Cayman. My 911 is going up in value and I love the car. All Caymans are going down in value. I am cheap. I will stick to my 30 year old 911. It has been paid for since last millennium.

Soon you may be able to sell your 911 and buy 2 Caymans.....

GH85Carrera 02-04-2015 08:44 AM

When I can sell my 911 for a new Cayman GTS I might just do it. I will not hold my breath.

porsche4life 02-04-2015 08:45 AM

At current trends... I'd give it 2-3 years. ;)

Color rocks.......cops notice yellow the most. They will see you before you see them. It also looks fast. Be daring if you want. Years ago I drove my red Targa cross country and was constantly lit up by radar. A couple of weeks later I drove my medium dark green 928 on the same route at the same speeds and was lit up only once that I knew about. I kept the cars at 5-9 mph over posted on both trips.
