A lot of that, you really don't want in HD.
There is a reason for a 'soft focus' lens.

I'm coming from an audiophile background, Phase Linear, worked with Bob Carver, he went on to form Sunfire brand subwoofers .

presently I'm at 4000 watts of powered subwoofers in my media room, a 2700 watt 12" and a 1200 watt 8" right next to the couch.

superbowl was great.

I've always been a hard core Samsung guy, watched the 6000, 7000, 8000 series of TV's grow in technology the last couple years.

Vizio has an amazing 70" 4K set for only $2000 out the door at Costco. To match its specs with Sony/Samsung you're at $3500-4000-6000-8000 easy..........

Also bought a easy to operate 5.2 Denon new AV receiver. Discrete Transistors out per channel and all HDMI switching makes cabling hook up a breeze. pass thru 4K signal too if you don't want to have the stereo on.

I've got sunfire audio theater system for sale if anyone is interested pm me.

Curve tv I don't like, nor a glossy reflective surface. I like a softer matte satin finish.

totally happy with my new 70" and surround.

cheap and wow factor.

Great resolution and lighting of a gal in her garden.

All Warm and Fuzzy as she was cuddling the furry teddy bear.

warm and fuzzy, yeah that's it, that's what I was feeling.

I think one of the most beautiful filmed movies is Life of Pi, but I don't know if you could get a 4K version.
