Christmas is Getting Close......

I went to the Northgate Market this afternoon to get tomales! We used to make them but since my wife had her stroke a few years ago she has trouble so we buy them and the market's are pretty good. I like the cheese and jalapeno ones and right now they are having a special, 10 for $12 so it is a pretty good deal.

I'm enjoying one right now. I like the chile/cheese ones the best but I'll eat any other one except the sweet ones with the raisins. Tamales are one of the best Christmas foods next to gingerbread. I do have to say, I eat so many over the holidays that I usually don't eat them during the year.

I love tamales! Crap I even like the ones from Trader joes, eat them for lunch pretty regularly!

We had some homemade ones this weekend courtesy of a friend, they sent us home with a big bag too, those didn't last long!
