i got a vintage kitchen knife. anyone know about it?

Gustav Emil Ern. has all the right markings. my boss gave it to me. he said it was old. i didnt want to press it, and clue him in that it may be a great knife. so i dont know really how old. the internet has very little info about it. i did notice that the tang tapers down thinner towards the handle end..so i doubt it is cheap stamped out blade. this is now dull as a butter knife.

any clue about this knife and if it is a legit vintage blade?

Don't know about the knife but I would put a little money in the job for Erosion Control/Hydroseed. You could get a hefty fine if you start silting up San Pedro Creek.

Boss gave it to you? Have you disgraced your family and the business?

Perhaps he is expecting that "you know what to do?"

There are guys in East Texas and Louisiana that you could get to electroshock fish and never take a break, they would think they had died and gone to a Walmart parking lot Six Flags Heaven. You could probably pay them with 30 packs of Busch light and stink bait.

Looks like stainless in the photo...not high carbon. Still would be a very good knife.

I know this dude... He cuts things up for a living. You should believe him if he says it takes a good edge.

That is my wife's pink knife. She won't let me toss it. It's our lemon slicer

i just got that one today..so up until now i only had one 10" chef..i just gave away a wustof veggie cleaver today too. not so sure what to do with the two redundant knives. the pink one will disappear soon. maybe end up in my brother's camper.

harddrive..not 100% sure what that meant. ??
