Thanks American Sniper,Jimmy and all the other brave American men and women who fight so bravely and give so unselfishly for us all. Finally went with my wife last night to see American Sniper the film that is causing so much controversy. Thought it was a pretty good film with I am sure a certain amount of Hollywoodism to sell tickets. When we left the theatre there was an almost eerie silence and I could not help but wonder if most people were having the same thoughts as me. When we got in our car to leave I said to my wife " That's Jimmy you know, that's what he and his team do" The Jimmy I am referring to is my dear friend ,a very active member on Pelican and a just retired Army Special Forces operator. Regardless of what people think of this film, they should not miss out on the underlying theme I feel Clint Eastwood was trying to get across.These brave soldiers are always willing to put their own lives in harms way in defense of the freedom that we all enjoy and at times even take for granted as Americans. I for one can tell you that every day I come to my home, to my beautiful wife and kids and get to set my own level of prosperity it is because of their efforts,sacrifice and bravery. It would be kind of hard to enjoy our Porsche hobby if our great country was being taken over by terrorists. So again a great big THANK YOU to the Chris Kyles, Jimmys and all the rest of our brave military men and women. And yes at the start of all my family's gatherings you will all be mentioned and your safety prayed for. You guys and gals are the best!!! John Szabo
