Anyone power balling tonight?

Had a five dollar bill blow across the lot and stuck to my boot.
Coworker also found a five. I think it was a higher being telling us, "place thine 10-spot on the powerball, my child! Quick pic of course."

It's go time! $500 million or so. Split three ways. Me, coworker and the tax-man. (Plus some lawyer:))

I probably will as well.... $10 to dream right? I already have a few toys picked out. ;)

Laneco 02-11-2015 12:54 PM

Yeah I figure we'll drop a 10 or so on it. I mean with 500 mil, there's plenty of room for smart investment choices as well as the always entertaining stupid ideas!!!

I'm in a pool. I would walk away with 5% of the stated winnings after splitting, taking the lump sum, and taxes.

stomachmonkey 02-11-2015 01:28 PM

I play now and again.

I never spend more than $1.00.

You can only win on one ticket.

Then you're not playing Powerball since the tickets cost $2

Yes for Powerball $2.00

My point was I don't buy more than one ticket.

Shaun @ Tru6 02-11-2015 02:13 PM

I haven't decided if I'll play or go buy a cup of coffee and spill it out. What time can you buy a ticket until?

GH85Carrera 02-11-2015 02:14 PM

Nope. I learned how to do math in grade school. Lotteries are a tax on math impaired.

on2wheels52 02-11-2015 02:18 PM

I figure my odds of winning w/o buying a ticket are almost the same as those who do buy a ticket.

I decided to light my 2 bucks on fire instead.

88-diamondblue 02-11-2015 02:26 PM

Oh yea, wasted money on worse things. Company pool, would work out to 23 Mil each. Someone has to win right?

Baz 02-11-2015 02:27 PM

I dropped $10 last week and got zip! Whiskey Tango?

dan88911 02-11-2015 02:35 PM

Guy on the radio today was putting down the lotto.
He claims giving your 2 dollars to a homeless guy will give you a better feeling than playing the lotto.
I am thinking a cup of coffee for me, is a better choice.

biosurfer1 02-11-2015 02:47 PM

I was wondering when all the downers and dream killers would show up.

911_Dude 02-11-2015 02:55 PM

Yea really. Its two bucks. Very small risk for a huge reward. And little chance of winning it. But somebody has to win it.

ginot912 02-11-2015 03:00 PM

I splurged, got a $6 ticket,
Actually two of them as I gave one to my good friend and we're going to split it!!!
