Physical keys on an iPad screen

This is cool. The iPad case has a screen protector. When desired, the screen protector forms raised areas where the keys are on the on-screen keyboard. So you have physical keys, after a fashion.

I'm not sure if this MS version uses the same tech:
Student-made tablet app may make dedicated Braille writers obsolete
"uses plastic cells sprayed with a flexible polymer. If Microsoft is to be believed, those pixel sized bits of plastic would be manipulated with UV light and would be used to convey a whole array of textures"

This makes sense for a 10 finger key board. Not so sure on a sub-sized board?

A tablet is about the least useful computer I can imagine. I finally bought one and it is a total POS unless you only surf / watch movies and never enter any text.
