Austin is right up the road. In between Austin and San Antonio is Gruene WELCOME TO GRUENE TEXAS! In the Austin area is The Oasis on Lake Travis. Lots of caves around San Antonio / Austin. Attractions in Texas | Natural Bridge Caverns

Sea world is cool if it's open? There's tons to do around the river walk. The needle, the market, etc. get on trip advisor. You can kill a day or two downtown easily

sounds like you have done the Alamo..
not sure if his stuff (Phil Collins) is on display yet.. but a while back he donated his collection... which rivals what the the Alamo had.. Rika |

Eat tex-mex, and lots of it. Ask the locals or just follow the largest chica's and they will show the way.

Lots of very good restuarants in that city, many are off the beaten path. And not just Tex-mex. Lots of variety.
I like the riverwalk but when I go to SA I look forward to eating good. |

I just got into San Antonio for work.
It is fairly sparse unless you are on the river walk though it can be a tad touristy for my taste at times.
