My a-number-one pet peeve as a design engineer is filling out endless paperwork "required" by those who have nary a clue what I do or why I do it, much less how I do it. And now, nearing the end of a 35 year plus career, I would venture to say these absolutely useless "requirements", and those who make them up, are winning. They are multiplying at a faster rate than more reasonable people can eradicate them. Like cock roaches or something...
