How is this legal?

Looking around for a way to cap off the brakeline when you remove the brake caliper so you don`t spill brakefluid. Found these but noticed something strange.

Spectre set MSRP @ $3.99
Pepboys did not have them in but were priced @ $3.99
Amazon had them priced @ $5.80 with a saving of $18.80. Original price $24.60.

How is this legal advertising?

Don`t have a lot to fill my days with so got screenshots too.

Spectre

Pepboys

It's not advertising.

While probably an error it's how our free market works.

You can certainly ask for as much as you want for an item.

It's capitalism.

If it concerns you, never look into the mark-up on hospital supplies and medications as that may be worse for your health than the problem that resulted in your bill.

Just depress the brake pedal about an inch and brace it in that position. It pushes the mc piston past the reservoir inlets shutting off fluid flow. Then wrap a small piece of aluminum foil over the end of the line. That's about two cents.

This is what I don't understand. You can buy these cake carriers all day long for $10-15. There's even an Amazon Prime one for $15. Why would someone list this (I've seen it with other items also) at such a high price?
