I may need help in Atlanta ( a big trailer )
I am just hedging my bets here but does anybody in the Atlanta have a flatbed trailer that can handle a 18,000lb vehicle. I might be in a bind and need a truck picked up if my carrier drops the ball.
TIA

That is a lot of weight. Best I've got access to is a Cronkhite bobcat trailer that could handle 8 to 10,000lbs.

I'm in Calif, not Atlanta.
Here's what an 18,000 lb vehicle looks like. My tractor, Daisy, weighs that much when fully loaded with fuel and wheel weights. She's hitching a ride on Lester (trailer) and Hester (truck). ![]() If you're going to haul that much weight the fancy-shmancy way (i.e. "legally"), then you need to use a lowboy with a semi-truck and air brakes, transport chains, ratchets rated for 10,000 lbs, etc etc blah dee blah.... |

Well thanks for the help and offers guys, the shipper picked it up this morning and got out of Atlanta before the crap fell from the sky. It is sleeping about a hundred miles south of me and while be here in the morning. The wife can play with it before I get home. Yes she has a B CDL with air, hazmat, and passenger
