old clock found in garage, what is it?

I'm helping my parents clean out the garage and I came across this old clock. It belonged to my father's aunt so he doesn't know much about it. How old is it and what type is it?

Looks like a pretty simple wind up mantle clock. I have a similar Seth Thomas but mine is electrically wound. Nothing too valuable, condition looks like it's been well used, but probably would work well if serviced.

Wow cool, that was exactly it! The clock still worked when the owner passed, and I remember her being proud of it. My dad doesn't care much for it so it may come along when I go back home.

We found some other fun stuff when we cleaned out the garage today.

The clock is cool. One of these days I want to get a mantel clock (don't even have a mantel). The couch is cool too.

I'm sure you know that the 4503 is the movement model.

Stolen from a clock website:
There should be another number on the movement that is a month and year, indicating when it was made. Pre-1931 is a Seth Thomas movement. 1931 and later would be a General Time movement.

The Plymouth Clock Co. was a division of the Seth Thomas Clock Co. It made a line of less expensive clocks, many of which were tambours.

Mid century furniture is hot right now. I'd research the couch a bit.

The barbie thermos is probably worth more.

These 30s/40s mantle clocks are very common. I don't fancy them at all. Old farts had them all over the place when I grew up.

Danish teak couch is worth keeping. Some nice leather cushions would be cool.

The chair was made by Fort Smith Chair Company, Ft Smith, AR in 1961. We have a 1959 MCM and my mom said I must be crazy when I told her I already had a spot reserved for it at home - she hates that style. It can't fly back with me so I'll have to figure out shipping somehow.

There was another clock in there that I was able to find more info about. It's from a great grandfather and about 100 years old, very sentimental to mom. Dad took it apart for refinishing about 35 years ago and never completed the job. I'm thinking of sending it off to be fixed up for her once the movement is excavated.
