Looking for a rental, anyone have a cottage near 90280?
Me and the gal pal and looking to cohabitate. Need a single floor, 2-3 bedroom, prefer hard wood floors and gas heat. $2500ish and we have two young Dachshunds. 12 pounders, baby turds.
4 rides, two 'verts, one work van and honda crap box. No debt and a $200K income. Within 20ish minutes of South Gate.

Our renter is supposed to move out in March.
Pro's One block from the ocean (but 100 foot cliff with trails down to the rocks) with nice park/jogging/biking - about one mile from sandy Cabrillo beach. Half block from a small corner store. Utilities paid. Con's No garage, ample street parking for four car (I know that may be a deal breaker) No dog policy (could be flexible if you swear to pick up poo immediately), this is why the current tenant is moving out, she signed a lease saying no dogs then showed up with a dog  she is also a bit of a drunk (no big deal) but she doesn't clean up after the dog leaving land mines everywhere. Thus the neighbor's complain about the smell.Only heat is the old style floor heater. Caveat, wife is in charge of the rental and she loves small dogs... however the yard cannot contain a small dog (back yard is fenced but no way it restrain a Dachshund... too many gaps in the fence... and the little bugger could dug under the side fence in ten seconds.) $1800

Update, wife is okay with Dachshunds
 . Front yard is aprox 40x40 lawn unfenced, great for tossing the ball and wraslin with the dogs but obviously shouldn't leave them out there unattended. Back yard is fenced but not dog proof.Oh, two bed, one bath, wood floors, 1940's beach house. PM'ed you my contact info.

Thanks Scott. The garage is a major need as well as a dog proof back yard.
So good luck finding a good tenant.

I live in Long Beach in the suburban 90808 zip code. I rent a 3 bed house on a quiet road with a yard and 2 car garage for $2200. Its the burbs so its pretty boring but you are 10 minutes from Seal Beach, 15 from 2nd street (good eating and drinking) and its super safe. Probably 20 minutes from Southgate and 2 minutes from the 405.
