Glowing monolith IMO...

berettafan 02-28-2015 06:14 AM

Porsche-O-Phile 02-28-2015 06:18 AM

Someone left their lights on?

fintstone 02-28-2015 07:06 AM

The Vulcans lit a memorial to Mr. Spock who passed away yesterday.

They're coming.

One if by land; two if by sea.

Ceres is actually the Death Star, the two lights you see are the laser warming up..Moff Tarkin has given the order to destroy the Rebel Alliance base

Crowbob 02-28-2015 06:17 PM

It's a hoax.

Just like the interwebs.

Or it's hypnosis.

Strawberry fields. Nothing is real. Nothing to get hung about. Strawberry fields forever.

So...........this dwarf planet is a very long way from us.......... and how long did it take for the light to get here? It must be burned out by now. Nothing to see here, move along now.

Looks like Ceres is an average distance of about 24 light-minutes from Earth. So not that long.

Bright lights

Since more than one has been seen, it must be a Ceres of bright lights!
