Dave and Phil Alvin
 

Had the pleasure of seeing these brothers perform last night. Absolutely phenomenal show with one set that lasted nearly 3 hours. It was one of the best shows I've seen. I have seen both of them play separately on numerous occasions and only once before together for one song only. It seemed like pulling teeth to get the one brother up on stage then. Really great to see them playing together and appear to truly be enjoying it.

Anyways, thought I'd share this and would highly recommend seeing them if they play in a venue near you.

I'll second that emotion. These guys are fugging great! Love watching the drummer....

Been a fan of the Blasters since college (early 80s...still have a few of their vinyl albums), but have never had the pleasure to see 'em together (though I have seen Phil and Dave individually before). Just keep on playin' that "American Music" boyz :D

True old school entertainers. I've seen Dave solo acoustic in a small room setting. No less intensity without the amps. The Blasters were like no other...
