Talladega - Video
Heard this song a while back and really liked it. Today I saw the video for the first time and really struck a chord with me. To be clear I am not a fan of Nascar - but the video is full of mid / late century American Baby-boomer nostalgia. The story and short clips reminded me of childhood and teenage years and the adventures that went with it. Here's the link - I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did....

Agree with the nostalgia thing. Was at the 1998 Talladega race. Had the cars not run one lap, it was worth it to see the people and culture......Thanks Gambler

Watching this is like a song entitled San Fransico, that obviously shows the skyline of Boise Idaho through out without ever seeing San Fransico.
I wonder what caused them to not film this at Talladega? Unwillingness to travel to Alabama? Catch a speed way when it doesn't have an event, and I'm sure setting your band up on the checkered flag can't be that expensive.
