Anyone into Volvooceanrace ???
Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2015
' I've seen them in Miami, Boston, now coming to Newport RI beginning of May. The hardest, longest endurance race in my opinion.

Been following and will be there on May 5, visiting a college classmate who is coming up from FL to see the festivities. Great event.

Im staying a couple of nights in Newport. I would like to time it with the in-port race.
Lots of fun and love the race village.

Yes! Actual know w few guys that have done it. One of my college roommates raced Newport to Barmuda last year.
I lived in Newport in the early 80s. Lived through Americas cup and got a chance to sail in a Tri that was trans ocean - those guys have serious stones to do that. |
