Awesome ideas in that thread, thanks! Think I might just build one like the first one pictured, super simple and looks really strong!

Really? The third one pictured (with a Honda RC30 on it) looks like exactly what you were planning. Solid top, storage underneath, movable.

Update:

Ok, for the first one, I went with the simple table in the beginning of that thread linked. Looks like this:

It could be a little longer for the BMW but it's perfect for the sport bikes.

Not really. I don't want it on wheels and it has to be a lot stronger than that one for heavy bikes and heavy line work, like removing swing arm bearings on a BMW, R&Ring engines on same bike, etc.

I'm still open to feedback here, might try a different template for the next one. :)

A good thread that covers MC work tables. I have several of the break- down style in use. One always travels to the track with me. (see pic in the thread)

how would one guy get the bike up there? Do you use a very long ramp?

speeder 04-20-2015 07:30 AM

Used a regular MC ramp, you can see it laying on floor in last photo. It's a two man job with a heavy bike like my RS, for light sport bikes and two strokes, one guy could do it.
