I got a new to me truck!!!!
Don't know what I am going to do with it but there we are!!! Burgandy, 7.3L Diesel, F250, 2wd, XLT, extended cab, 3.73, almost 400,000 miles, interior is still in very good condition. Some bumps on the driver's side, some bumps in the bed. Still pulls strong. One owner truck for about 15 years. Set-up with a gooseneck and spray in bed liner.
The old truck did not cost me too much I guess. Wife gave it to me as it was her old truck. No photos yet but she now has the following arriving soon: 2015 F250 XLT 2wd, 4 full doors, 8ft bed, towing package, camper package, once again upgraded springs all around, spray in bed liner, factory gooseneck, limited slip, smaller wheels, gas engine, same towing capacity as the old diesel, 3.73, white with dark interior. What I did not like was she wanted the burgandy but Ford only would supply it with a light colored interior. Such an interior would be dark and rubbish in a few years. Truck was custom ordered to her spec. With this she will be taking horses out to shows and riding. Keeping her happy!!!! Did quite some searching and looking. Went with gas due to current and future costs. The projected issues with the diesel engine will each cost about the same as a new V8 crate motor. Even the sellers said to stay in the gas line even though we keep these for, well, almost ever. Towing specs are more than good enough for our needs of up to about 12,000 pounds. Same transmission and differential no matter the engine. The truck is truly a beast on paper and will serve well for the next, we really do hope, 15 years!!!!

I'm currently trying to shine up my 99 Powerstroke 7.3L diesel F-250 4x4 Lariat edition truck to sell. I too, am going to look for a gas replacement maybe 8-10 years old to pull our camper and horse trailer, and generally be a beat around the farm work truck.
