I didn't watch the entire thing. The driver seems like he was just waiting to get pulled over, antagonizing the officer in the 8 minutes I did see. I wanted to yell at the driver??'turn the frikkin' wiper off!!"

didn't watch the whole thing. The guy seems like a tool. Seems like it would be better to not be so confrontational. By telling the cop that you are invalidating his traffic cop, you are essentially goading him to find something, anything to get you on. Not many people are so squeaky clean that they can get away with that.

Besides, the douche has his phone or video camera set for vertical video syndrome. He has to repeatedly adjust the camera. If it was set to landscape, he wouldn't have to do that.

It did seem like he was looking for a confrontation, and he found it. I didn't watch past about 4:00......idiot.

Hmm, I don't remember the constitution guarantying us the right to sit in our car during a traffic stop.

In his defense however, I have also been stopped for a taillight out , when I was 100% sure they were functional. Stated that to the officer, and when I asked him if he could show me , he skirted the question. When I got home, they all worked...

Cops have a CRAPPY job that most of don't want to do. For that we should be thankful.

But we all know within' law enforcement we have those who are only there because of the power trip.

I respect law enforcement in general but they are not gods by any means and because I have seen what I perceive as abuse of power....I take each situation individually....every officer I encounter has to earn my respect.

If anything I would encourage LEO's to turn in the loose cannons in their department to enhance their damaged PR. Because it is damaged - no doubt about that.

That's a situation where you cooperate, kill him with kindness and ask him to call his supervisor to the scene. Then demonstrate the lights for his boss and ask him again what the PC was for the traffic stop.

I wish he would take some of the money he spent on after market speakers and buy new wiper blades.

Thanks for letting me know that I don't have to click on some POS vertical video. As much as I don't like abusive cops, citizens abusing them for doing their jobs are no better.

Best answer I've heard to the "you work for me" was on an LAPD video, "No, I don't work for you. I work for anyone who calls for police service in Los Angeles". :cool:
