iPhone email problem
All of a sudden when I receive my work emails on my iPhone 6, they don't appear on my desktop computer at work. It's like my phone receiving the email takes it off the server. When I do a search on my desktop of my emails, it finds them. I'm using gmail. Any suggestions?

Sounds strange!
Are you using the Gmail-app? The app only shows the content of the server, it cannot take the mails off the server. |
Wild guess... iPhone is marking them as "read". When checking via desktop, they've been sorted in some way or since "read" not obvious?

Check with Hillary. (couldn't resist) :D

@stomachmonkey: is your description also valid if I use the Gmail-app? |
Alternative. Look at the server settings on the iPhone. Is the "remove from server" setting checked?

I think on the desktop you could use 'recent:username@gmail.com' to give you the last 30 days |

It was late and I did not have my reading glasses on so initially missed the part where he says searching his desktop reveals them. They could be getting flagged as spam and automagically moved out of his inbox. |

When I have an email on my phone that doesn't appear on my desktop inbox, I can search for it and it pops up in bold text, indicating it's unread. |
mine does this too with the exchange server. our IT guys guys said it was a glitch and when it happens, I have to delete the account from my phone and reinstall it and then everything works again for a while.
