Little last second travel deal help?
I know this has been beaten to death but I also know that these sites fall in and out of favor. So what is the site dejour for last minute hotel deals (outside of groupon)
The wife and I are looking to head out tomorrow on a last minute getaway and thought I would give the old internets a look. If we can't come up with anything else we'll drive to Chicago and wing it ![]() ![]() Oh yea, Sunday is our 18th anniversary and we were not planning on going anywhere until an opportunity for the in-laws watching our two boys popped up earlier today. Just looking for a couple day getaway where we can pretend to be in our 20s again... ![]() Thanks in advance guys ![]()

Kayak is good for flights. Don't know of a better site. But not sure about hotels.

Thanks guys, Kayak and Hotels.com just seem so generic...like they are all using the same data/engine. I was hoping for a clearance site for folks willing to pop literally at the last minute. Kayak and Hotels (while good) don't seem any different than the rest.

My wife says to try hoteltonight.com. I prefer using biddingfortravel.com in conjunction with Priceline to get the best deal on hotels. Using those two sites will give you a good idea of the price and place Priceline has.

Priceline.com. You can bid on hotels that fit your criteria. Also check out their Express Deals. I use them 10x a month at least.

Excellent, thanks Motion. Priceline is the one where you have no idea which hotel you're getting isn't it? That concerns me some but not a ton (stick to the start system I suppose). Express deals is new...on it.
Never mind, I'm an idiot. I see know that's a part of priceline. Still on it ![]()

Len, use biddingfortravel to figure out which hotel Priceline will give you.
