I don't know Jim? I hope these bastards don't stop me on a routine traffic stop while having a bad day and kick the living crap out of me.

rusnak 04-10-2015 11:09 AM

San Berdoo County taxpayers will get to pay up a few $Mil for that, thanks to idiots on the payroll.

craigster59 04-10-2015 11:57 AM

"......Two deputies suffered dehydration, a third was kicked by the horse". I'm surprised they didn't empty their clips into the horse.

Jim Richards 04-10-2015 01:05 PM

They only shoot the family dog.

rammstein 04-10-2015 01:13 PM

Wow.

Bugsinrugs 04-10-2015 02:39 PM

Those thugs should be made to pay his hospital bill. The tax payers are on the hook for that.

Absolutely agree on the jail, plus loss of job or any future in law enforcement, loss of pension (sorry union). Attitudes would change.

The man threated the LE, killed a puppy, stole a horse (and injured it) and fled from the LE. What exactly did he expect? He deserved exactly what he got. Too bad it will all now be about the cops. Otherwise...give them a medal and a pay raise.

rusnak 04-10-2015 04:54 PM

^ They should let him stand trial, not administer street justice.

What exactly did he expect? ...............to be arrested once he submitted.

He deserved exactly what he got.............punishment is not determined nor to be administered by law enforcement officers, there is this thing called a trial and sentencing which civilized countries practice.

"Due Process" look it up.

"Cruel and unusual punishment" look that up too.

Right but if he HADN"T done this things he wouldn't have his butt kicked by the police.

It's really simple>>>>>>don't be a criminal and you won't have to worry about being beat by the cops.

BTW-the cops should be held responsible for their actions in this case. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

I don't disagree...but sometimes the posse gets a little out of hand. The tool needed a little street justice. Too bad the cops and the county will pay.

rusnak 04-10-2015 05:34 PM

^ I feel for the deputies and their families. The law does not side with the way they made the arrest. It is what it is.

speeder 04-10-2015 05:42 PM

I saw that one too, I have mixed feelings on this one. Yeah, they shouldn't have beat the guy, (especially with a news chopper overhead), but he was a horse thief and an animal abuser. I might have lost my cool as well. :(

intakexhaust 04-10-2015 05:43 PM

Oooh, the perp yelled potty mouth to a LEO. Oh dear. So here we have the bad guy spread eagle, face in the dirt. You mean to tell me ALL these cops could not zip tie the legs and wrist?

This posse was all wrong. Courts better do some justice in this one.

craigster59 04-10-2015 06:45 PM

He's not a nice guy to say the least. Also, with his girlfriend for 13 years, 3 kids and a bun in the oven? I think we've been paying this guys way for awhile.

And as long as I'm judging, I'm surprised his attorney was able to peel his lips away from the vodka bottle long enough to give a news conference.

Gogar 04-10-2015 07:03 PM

If you're not committing any crimes, you have nothing to worry about. Just get on the train.

aigel 04-10-2015 07:21 PM

LA cops ... remember the Dorner man hunt ... scary stuff ...
