Daly played in the Masters a bunch, twelve or so. The Masters doesn't "invite" anyone, got to earn it: Qualifications for Masters Invitation | Masters

John Daly is a cautionary tale: He has imploded more than a Boxster IMS. He is also almost Fitty, a very old Fitty.

I have attended the Masters 15 or so times. I took my wife twice. She is a master gardener and never stopped talking about the landscape and plants.

I am not sure why I took her the second time

I think it's really cool that "The Golden Bear" Jack Nicklaus fired a hole in one on Wednesday, it proves he still has the touch.

The Masters is like a religion around here. For two weeks, you can't walk past a TV in this state without it being on.

I myself am not a big fan of golf, so I mostly just nod and feign interest.

Went for the first time this Tuesday, won a sales contest for work. Its about a 2 hour drive form my house on the other side of the state. Not huge into golf but starting to like it more. Its worth going just once if you can, the TV does not even come close to how immaculate the place is much less so after seeing that many people at the place all eating and drinking and not a speck of trash to be seen. I am guessing the head grounds keeper makes an easy 6 figures a year for untold hours of work and worry, he earns every cent in my book.
