What is a "concours" quality 90' S2 (M030) coupe worth?

I came across a local 1990 944S2 coupe (100,000 miles).

It is a local PCA club concourse winner. It has M030 suspension and Cup 2 wheels. Not sure if its factory M030 or aftermarket. I will check

Its a red coupe in pristine shape (eat off the engine bay) with full history of maintenance records going back to day 1.

I'm going to check it out soon. Up here in Canada, prices for solid quality 944s seem closer to $10K on a good (motivated buyer) day.

What kind of premium should I pay for the "best of the best"?

I think a super clean 944S2 will hold its value

I'm getting excited....I just dont want to be a total chump.

944<944s<944s2<968

so a bit more then a plain ''s'' but less then a 968 coupe

currently 6k to 12+ IN USD for a 944s2

while I can't see a mint premium on 100k mile car
I have not seen your car

the turbo is rising in values but not the others as much

I would have to agree with nota on this one. There was one local. Started at 8, went to 9.5, then finally at 13k. Seller kept raising his price. Few months later never sold. Roughly same condition, same miles, 1 owner car.

I just helped a guy on the 944 forums pick up a 951. Seller asking 10 grand. Everyone told him 8-10k+ was a great deal. His mechanic said 6-7.5. I said 4k, he ended up getting it for 5. Sure there's a lot of ignorant buyers with a lot of money, but realistically I don't see them worth that much. Btw the 3.0l 16 valve are my fav, I won't say a turbo, S2's are nicer.

hi guys

just bought myself a 1991 S2, crystal silver metallic, non sunroof, 82000 KM (not miles)
partial leather seats with porsche script , airco, partial history, original!!!
matching numbers of course

thoughts? I wanted a non turbo and S2, 9HP less but less heat and costly i guess to drive
(always open to a partial 964C2 or 993 C2)Trade
