Best place to buy motorcycle tires?

I just picked up a cbr250r that needs tires soon. Bike bandit the best place to get them? What's a good street tire for that bike.

Any of you track rats have a set of lightly used takeoff you'd sell?

All street tires are good these days. Much better than 90% of the people riding bikes. Just do a Google search on the sizes, and click on the shopping tab. You'll see prices from all the top suppliers. Take them to Cycle Gear (off the bike) and they'll change them out for about $40 a tire.

Takeoffs are a good way to do it, too. Check Ebay and Craigslist. I've sold dozens of sets in the past few years on Craigslist.

I actually found the best price on tires for my bike on Amazon. They are an odd size, so my choices are limited. I bought these...

As motion suggested, I removed the wheels and had a local place do if for $30 or so. Our local Cycle Gear doesn't have the equipment, but I have heard of using them before with positive results.

Get on the mailing list for the Motorcycle Gear, Parts and Accessories - Motorcycle Superstore They have 3 or 4 tire sales per year and you will get an email notification. IF not for that sale, I compare prices on Amazon and Ebay as each will list the best prices on several brands.....I've bought 4 tires in the past month just betting ready for the season.

Thanks guys, I'll check those places. Not looking to spend a ton since I won't be keeping this bike long, but the tires are pretty bald, and k figure it will sell better with deeper rubber.
