If not now, soon to be?

Mike Duffy on Canada's most hated list? Perhaps I'm being too harsh on this Humpty Dumpty.

Lives just down the road from me at one of his "residences". Seeing him quite often in the summer at different restaurants, stuffing himself, on our dime, we're just finding out now. We really don't need guys like this. Do nothing blow- hard freeloader. Hope he doesn't own a Porsche. (I hate politics)

Canada. Americas hat.

1990C4S 04-15-2015 12:19 PM

Most hated? No way. He's a political pawn.

He played the game the way they all do, the way they are told to. And now they make an example of him.

Wallin is far worse....as we shall see.

I suppose you could say that, but you really wouldn't want to.

GWN7 04-16-2015 09:57 AM

I can't see why I would not want to in response to a statement like "canada, america's hat"

It would be factually incorrect to do that. While the United States is a very large part of America, America does not equal the United States.

Granted the United States is obviously the most important country in the Americas but referring to the united States as "America" could be deemed offensive by those pesky insignificant little countries the United States has to share "America" with.

gordner 04-16-2015 11:58 AM

You are correct, I should have typed USA instead.
However, USA is only the most important country in the Americas if you are an American, as a Canadian I find Canada to be a much more important country in my day to day life....
Insignificant hey....that is why the world is so in love with the USA is attitudes like that....

Do we have a great white north version of PARF, you hosers?

lets look at the facts.

From an industrial, scientific, economic, natural resource, cultural, and military standpoint it would be very, very difficult to argue that the United States of America is not the most significant and important country in the history of this planet.

If you add up all the gross domestic products produced by all 28 countries in the you-rope-peeing union, that number is just barely larger than the GDP of the US of A.

And the US GDP is TWICE as large as the second country on the list, China.

In case you were wondering, Cananananda ranked 11th with 1/10th the GDP of the US of A.

And I'm sorry if I was a Rude 'merican.
Your country is very important and significant.

This ^ is why I have been sayin that if the US of A should have a fiscal or monetary crisis along with the USD being the Reserve Currency everything and every body is wiped clean.

Nobody has to tell em nothin, either you go along to get along or you do not make it past GO, nor collect your $200.00. It is the rules of the road and the system attracts certain types of people.

gordner 04-16-2015 01:00 PM

Justin beeber does indeed suck, as does celine dion.

In my mind there is no better country in the world than Canada for many reasons. It is of little importance to me the size of your economy nor any of your other facts...I have spent a good portion of my life in the USA and it is a great country in many ways and a terrible country in many ways.
In the history of the planet, well now that is one hell of a stretch....
I am all for patriotism, and I have always admired American's love for their country. I have always hated how so often they dismiss others as unimportant and assume that everyone else envies or wants to be America. Maybe 40 years ago, but not today for a great portion of the worlds population. I know I for one would never leave Canada to live in the USA.
All well and good to be proud, but arrogance is a highly unapealing trait.

gordner 04-16-2015 01:02 PM

The rules for expenditures were written in a time when you could assume to some degree that public employees would be reasonable, and use their head as to what should be payed out of pocket and what should not. These pigs all took advantage of that system, and they should all be held to task for it.

Yeah but there's also Joni Mitchell and Neil Young. And Neil Young is God in case you didn't know. Clapton just thinks he is.

gordner 04-16-2015 01:29 PM

Neil Young is a huge ass who should keep his opinions to himself.
