Too soon on the calendar for us. We need a few weeks prior notice. But a Sunday sometime in late May would definitely work.

Sunday, May 3 at Oak Tree Gun Club.

I-5 north or south to Santa Clarita, take the Calgrove Exit, turn south onto the Old Road/Calgrove, head south about 2 miles to the very top of the hill, turn right.

Libations and burgers are on me and Craigster at my house afterwards.

I live next to the Calgrove exit off of the I-5.

What time works for everyone? 1:00 PM or so?

How early can you get here?

Thinking realistically, the timing and distance might make it tough for me to get there. I can bail on the student after 2ND session (11:00), but I don't want to bring the spoons to the track. I'd have to go back to Ventura to pick up spoons, then back to Oak Tree. That's a lot of time in a car seat just to get me there by 3:00. I may have to make the next one.

me and Jim (lowyder) have been kicking around the idea of some surf fishing before. This might change those plans but if we do end up fishing, I have an extra rig if someone wants to join us.

May 3rd works for me. Jim was just suggesting since it was later in the day we might go fishing in the AM. If you guys want to meet earlier we might cancel the fishing for a later date.
