^^^^^
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt Monson 04-28-2015 09:17 AM

That's a great policy.

Charles Freeborn 04-28-2015 09:41 AM

Seems fair to me too.

jimbauman 04-28-2015 09:49 AM

If you are unemployed with no income you take the bus or a bike. :D

Great policy. All punitive fines should take into account income and net worth.

Yes - let's turn the US into a socialist utopia.

Tremelune 04-28-2015 02:14 PM

Define socialism.

What is the point of a punitive fine that isn't a punishment? I'm reminded of children sent to their room in which they have a TV, an XBox, a Playstation...

dwight45 04-28-2015 02:35 PM

It's already there tomphot

Fines.

As I recall, when we took factory delivery of our '86 the traffic fines were based on income.

Maybe this has changed.

I'll look into it.

Pretty fair systems.

I can't remember where but "somewhere" the city tax on your house is base on income as well.

DaveMcKenz 04-28-2015 04:36 PM

Fair means you treat everyone the same.
Just means you treat everyone right.
If I walk into a room, and shoot everyone; I am being fair, but I am probably not being just.

Dave emotes fairness on 2122 Clark Street. Right around the corner from Park Ridge.

"Big Al" McKenz doles out $58k worth of love.

Happy Valentine's day. Where the hell is Ronnie?

Also, I was referring in a joking manner to the difference between social justice and social fairness. Most laws address justice and usually fairness is supposed to be automatic. When it comes to money, however, taxes, fines, monetary punishment, fairness is often sacrificed to what is perceived as the greater goal: justice. I don't always agree with the fine point that separates the two.

Currently, socialism is defined as "more government than I personally want".

zzzzzzzzzzz

Let's talk pizza.

Worked in Warrensville for seven years crashing at the Motel 6 on Farnsworth road, two spits from the Fermi Lab (may explain some things wiff respect to me brain)

Co-worker in Chicago took me to a hole-in-the wall place, south of town a bit, that had thin crust pizza. Like Baklava thin crust. Loah-ded with sinful goodness on top. One time experience. Have gone to Gibsons and a squillion other ass-kicking grub huts in Chicago. Would trade them all for another run at that pizza.
