Sons of Anarchy - season 7
Holy cow, this is a whole new level of TV violence. My god. Seems like every other scene is a gun battle or some other kind of grisly mayhem and carnage and it's aftermath. The opening scene of episode one in the prison should have been my clue.
I think I've reached my limit after three episodes....I'd like to see how the story arcs but the non stop bloodbath is just too disturbing. |

I used to really like that show and watched every episode. Towards the end I just let it go.

I picked it up a few months ago and am about to start season 6. At this point I want to see how it turns out but I've lost interest a few times but have still come back to it.

Yes the story has become far too dark, violent and uninteresting. After the rescue of Jaxs kid(season 3?4?) it lost its way IMO. Jax is trying to pull a Michael Corleone but keeps getting dragged back in.

............for me...... I think the show tried to show the progression of what happens to gang activity when greed overtakes direction. It is TV but some of the situations mirror what could happen in real life. The eventual downfall and the bloody problems are at least believable........................... if not hard to watch.

Just wrapping up Season 6 (2 EPs left). I skipped it for the last 2 because I thought the show had lost direction at the end of Season 5.
Finally wrapping it up but yes - it's all vengeance and violence. Wow.

I watched the first few seasons. Always put me in a crappy mood afterwards. There seems to be better forms of entertainment.

I heard a new term the other day,
"Hate-binge." It's how I feel about season 6-7 of this horrible, stupid show. I watched it all really fast because it's so bad.
