I hate haggling for price.
But I had a Danish girlfriend who would argue over the price of a turnip. We went to buy a home theater system a few years ago and after I had spent hours on line doing research about what we needed and we had been in Best Buy for over an hour picking out all the components, pricing things out, and totaling up the bill, she picked up a DVD and said she wanted the salesman to throw that in. He said he couldn't. She said he could if he wanted to. He said he wasn't authorized. She said, "Well, get someone out here who is authorized." The store manager came out and said he couldn't do it. She said, "You can do it if you want to make this $5000 sale. Give me this $19 DVD or we're walking."
By then I was in the truck hiding. I was totally embarrassed by it. But there are people like that. Wait until the last signature is ready to be signed and change the deal.

AAA or Costco offer no hassle/haggle pricing.
AAA referred me to a local dealer for a new truck.
The salesman intentionally kept us away from the public sales floor.
He said since we were using the the I word (invoice) he did not want others in negotiations to hear us.
It was a no hassle no haggle low price deal.
This was on a new 1 ton dually crewcab diesel for $40k.
