Keywords and Tags

Is this the most irritating thing on the internet? You put it your search term and end up with multiple pages of idiocy.

I search on Porsche, and I see ads for Corrolas and Accuras! All because some moron thinks I'm interested in his commuter. And I'm not talking about a dealer who lists his whole inventory. These are individual ads where the last part of the ad is dozens of Tags and Keywords.

Keywords: moron, waste my time, piss off, go F#)@# yourself.

Are you using Craigslist? If so, check the "search titles only" box.

Lee, yes you can get around the idiots, but I agree with the OP. People who put irrelevant key words and tags in ads are morons.

You mean to tell me Porsche doesn't make a civic? I never knew...

Definitely very frustrating. As "smart" as Craigslist is, I'd think they'd have something built into the programming to stop people from keyword spamming. If I open an ad like that I'm going to take the time to flag it.

Good ideas - check the Titles only block and flag the keyword/tag abusers. Thanks!
