New Full Collective Pitch RTF 3D Quadcopter
 

I'm considering buying this new quadcopter. :cool:

Here's a Nice review of a 3D quad copter with Collective Pitch, only one drive motor, and belts going out to all four blade pods. Looks pretty robust.

interesting concept of the mechanics............and then you now get 3D capability.

Not a camera platform but more a Pitts Special Bipe quad copter.

Full stunt quad copter....with collective pitch.......to fly out of the box......and fairly cheap.


Been flying fixed pitch quadcopter and helicopters for years. This is a new level.

looks like hobby king may have just cloned the curtis youngblood stingray which has been out for several years.


I really am not sure why you would get one of these over a CP Heli, espescially because they have reversing motor quads if you just want to do loops and rolls. If you want to do "hard core 3-d" with a quad thats cool but starting with something much better supported like a 450 sized heli makes alot more sense to me

curtis youngblood is of course RC heli royalty and was on the cover of RC magazines when I was in high school (90's)
