PC Corruption?
For some reason I am getting an ad on each post within the threads on the PP forums. Any idea what's happened?
I began using Chrome about a year ago - this started last week. I'm running Win 7 on a Dell desktop, and my Eset/Nod32 is updated daily. Any help would be appreciated. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1433790537.jpg |
Are you logged in when you see the ads?
If you are not logged in you get the ads, but to post that question you had to be logged in. Strange? |
You know what - i wasn't logged in. For some reason I keep getting logged out. When I took that screen shot I wasn't logged in - but I didn't realize it. When I went to start the new thread is when that I realized that I wasn't logged in. Strange - I wonder why all of a sudden it's loggin me out?
At this point, being logged in, I've checked a few threads and no ads appear - thanks Glen! |
Ok - I leave the forum (to work no less) and the next time I returned I was seeing ads. I tried to post and I was logged out. Very strange.

Three words...Ad Blocker Plus

Is that something I can just add to Chrome?
|
Yes, works real good.

I have McAfee site advisor and I got a warning last night about this site (are you sure you want to go there)
That has never happened before. I'm on Google Chrome as well |
I just finished reading the 'BP tazered unarmed woman' and thought this thread was about something else. lol
