Help me value these two pistols

Friend asked me to place a value for a private sale on these two pistols. First is a Springfield Armory 1911. In very good condition, but just a basic 1911. I'm thinking $400.

The second is a Beretta Storm .40 cal. Also very good condition. I'm thinking $300. What says the collective?

I have been looking for a reasonable .45...I have been looking on Gun Broker quite a bit. I know the prices there are often high, but $400.00 for the .45 seems light.

Not for that 45 ACP.

find out what Distributor price is and mark it $25 under for a NIB spoon.

I can't tell from the serial # on that SA if it's a Brazilian-made frame. Those go for about $650 new, so $400 should move it quickly.

That is a basic GI model parkerized. I was of the opinion that all the frames were manufactured in Brazil and imported for the finish work and assembly.

$400. seems pretty low for the Springfield - I would snap it up at that price.

No idea on the Beretta

Any thoughts on the value of the Beretta?

I bought the next grade up "Mil-Spec" in Stainless Steel for $505 from Gander Mtn about 7-8 years ago, brand new. $400 seems about right for a USED parkerized GI.
