Independent Lens - Muscle Shoals Documentary
IF you don't know where real soulful music originated from, where southern rock started (even if you think you know) this is an absolute must see. It was aired a while back on PBS via my local channel. Really unbelievable cinematography, soundtrack and interviews.
From small town, poor white country boys who became one of the industries greatest backing bands and engineers from the late 50's to the late 70's. I cannot seem to find it online available for streaming, but it's on DVD and possibly soon airing on your local PBS station. Maybe someone here can find it and post link to watch.

Saw it on PBS about a year ago - well worth the time to watch.

So much interesting cinematography, interviews and music you need to watch it more than once..............to get all of it

One of the best documentaries on music I've ever seen. It's a gorgeous movie!
