Guitar players, recomend a good reverb that doesn't cost an arm&leg

Still trying to put together a decent guitar rig on a budget.
I have a few nice tube amps from when I was mostly playing bass in garage bands.
Nothing wrong with playing guitar through a bass amp (matter of fact back in the day many guys were doing it).
Even better is these amps are FREE!
But I do like a little reverb on geetar... so what is a good reasonable priced reverb pedal?

TIA

Ive always found the Holy Grail noisy myself. Been through lots and lots of RVBs- the one Ive been using for a few years and am quite happy with is the Hermida Audio Reverb. Cheap, one knob, true bypass and a pretty good emulation of a spring tank.

Edit: just noted that there is a new version, two knobs, smaller housing.....mine is one the older models. Great RVB.

TC Hall of Fame is really good and popular ~$150. My son uses that and the other guitarist in his band does too. I have a Hardwire Supernatural which is also very nice. Totally agree with you that a bit of plate or spring reverb, or a little slapback delay, really opens up a dry guitar tone.

I see the TC Mini is the one knob unit and there is the TC Tone print with four knobs... is the Tone print worth the extra $25?

It's cool if you want to mess around and hook up your computer to it etc.

Have you considered selling or trading your amps for an amp with on board reverb? I'm extremely happy with a Princeton Reverb clone that I have.

The regular non-mini version is much more versatile and user-friendly, having effects, blend and tone controls via regular knobs. Which suits you better depends if you are looking to really mess around with reverb and 'ambient' sound effects, or just richen up a dry signal simply and cheaply and be done with it.

I'm eyeballing the Strymon Big Sky right now which is at the insane end of the spectrum. But the Supernatural is 90% of what I need at 40% the price.
