anyone have a source for aluminum soffit ?
 

I'm looking for aprox. 600 s.f. of solid aluminum soffit in white. Going to use it for a ceiling in the man cave. Lowes and H.D. are way too expensive, anyone have a good source ? I'm looking for either 12 or 16 inches wide by 12 foot long if possible. Yes I have searched it seems like to get a price quote you have to go through a roofing contractor or similar. I just want to buy it. I'm in Marietta GA. if that matters. Thanks

Call a seamless gutter company. They have it in rolls and can come out and cut to length in your driveway.

I do business with at least 5 local lumber yards and supply houses. The first time you need something go in and deal with the counter guys. They'll set you up as a cash account.

You might want to check the price of steel siding as well. Light gage stuff is likely less expensive than soffit.

Once you're in their system you shouldn't have trouble getting quotes by phone.

In my experience you only need a business # to set up a credit account. A friend of mine did that - his has a "sole proprietor" business "Jim *** and sons" - as far as I know he just uses it to buy material and equipment for a fairly extensive property.

I found a guy on CL selling metal roofing blems for 1.25 l.f. so today I picked up some 13 ' white panels. Will work perfect for the ceiling and didn't break the bank.
