i need a running bucket hat

crazy. i cant believe they dont make more of them.

i wear the typical fast wicking running hat. mine are white so i can toss them in the bleach wash. cutting my hair..okay buzzing my head to a "000" i noted my ears are burnt to a crisp. they are flaking at the top.

yesterday i ran 6 miles in the sun. sunscreen is okay..i burn my eyes.

i found one!! one single running bucket hat.

patagonia. the mesh might not offer the protection for my cropped short fuzz on top tho. anyone know of a runner's bucket hat? i hate those with the big flaps on the backs.

Checking in on this thread because I being blue/blond and over 50 need sun protection.

I don't run but the wife and I have found a copasetic activity in hitting outdoor flea market, antique fairs, farmers markets, etc.

Just loosely throw a bandana in the hat & put it on your head. It will wick some of the sweat from your head. If you need extra protection maybe for the back of your neck or somewhere else, you can pull the edges of the bandana down. Also use it to wipe your noggin.

That thing will create drag. Just get up before the sun!
