I've had a grey beard for at least fifteen years and met some old friends at Hooters (San Jose Blvd) for lunch today (only Hooters I'll go to). When's the last time that happened to you other old farts :D

Didn't have an ID on me, and the little cutie cut me some slack :p

That particular Hooter's is BVD's long time stomping grounds....he's posted a pic of his 911 in the parking lot before and I bet he don't get carded there :D

I have had a beard for so long I don't remember. It has turned CHROME not grey many years ago. ;)

I was carded at a local Chinese restaurant not long ago. I guess all white men look alike. :D

Actually, according to FL law, you are required to have an ID on you when in a bar and Hooters drills that into the girls. A friend, who is older than me, got pissed at lunch one time, he didn't want to show his ID, and they wouldn't serve him. He by no means looked under 50.
You should have sent me a note, that isn't far from my office.

Yes, not far from my office either.

That is the best hooters and about the only one I will go to these days. I used to work right next to it when the shop there next door was a jiffy lube. I was the guy in the pit because I was honest.

Hell, we need to all meet for lunch.

I live on the west coast now. I get back there every once in a while though, one of my customers is based in Jax and lots of old friends and some family. trying to get back there for a visit in the next few months.

I'm in Jax now. I'll meet there for lunch.....or dinner.

The local breweries here do a brisk business on the weekends. We start a lot of our bicycle rides from them so that we can rehydrate afterwards...

On more than one occasion, a 50+ year old rider has been denied entry for no ID. They card EVERYONE. No exceptions.

The hooters on south side is the best and they card my old ass too. The wife is hot so the chicks always sit with us. Hey a guy can dream right.
