Best flights to Barcelona?
Our daughter is going to study abroad in Barcelona Spain and I'm looking for the best experience/carrier/cost to fly her there on 9/1 and back on 12/16.
Any tips or experience? Edit: I'm not jumping up and down with joy about it, but she's saved her money for it and wants to give it a go. |

I do see Barcelona on sale quite a bit, so if I were you, I'd hold out for something around $700 round trip from a major US city. You can always position her there on a local carrier. Anything sub-$1,000 is pretty good these days for Europe.

Most likely will be a BA, Lufthansa, or affiliate carrier. Also, "best experience" and "cost" are mutually exclusive. The Lufthansa 747 I was on last time to Germany was really cramped, the United 767 coming back had a ton more room.

Thanks guys. I'll give them a look.
