A bit nauseating

Sit back from your screen...this causes motion sickness in susceptible individuals.

That looks like a fun ride!

Rot 911 07-15-2015 09:44 AM

Very cool!

Icemaster 07-15-2015 09:49 AM

P51?

Dantilla 07-15-2015 10:14 AM

Not a P-51D, the most common. Wrong canopy. Probably an early P-51.

Looks like Kermit Week's place in Florida.

GH85Carrera 07-15-2015 10:18 AM

The title of the video says P-51C

BlueSkyJaunte 07-15-2015 10:46 AM

Yep. Kermit is $$$$$ and he's doing it right. :D

SiberianDVM 07-15-2015 10:49 AM

That makes tracking old Porsches look safe and cheap.

t6dpilot 07-15-2015 10:57 AM

I was going to say, yee haw, a T6! Until I heard all twelve cylinders causing hell to break loose on take off. Mustang! Then I said that has to be Kermit Weeks' place and then saw the Kermie Cam title. Pretty damn cool. I have to say that one of the most adrenaline fueled moments in my flying career is to push the throttle forward on a V12 fighter. Friggin' awesome! Wish the GoPro was out during my flying days.....

Great video - thanks for sharing.

Interesting that I didn't see him perform a ground check prior to shutting down. Kinda standard practice for me.

Makes me wish I had taken flying lessons when younger.
Fun to watch the instruments...altimeter, bank & turn, rate of climb, etc.
I've never flown a plane myself...although I enjoy going up.
Looks like it takes a lot of stick movement for maneuvering.
At around 40 seconds, is his left hand pulling up the flaps?
At the 12:30 position, is that a gun sight?
He stays pretty busy in there, I see.
.
Fun ride...thanks for the video.

I just read the title and I'm guessing this is about parf. Let me scroll up and see if I'm right

pcardude 07-15-2015 02:55 PM

I was wrong.

Cool video

sugarwood 07-15-2015 03:33 PM

The altitude difference from 6:00 to 6:30 is amazing

flatbutt 07-15-2015 03:42 PM

As a wedding gift my wife bought me 10 flight lessons at a local flight school. I eagerly went for my first...until the instructor took me to a seriously beat-up C152 that appeared to have major structural components replaced with duct tape (no joke or exaggeration).

We took off without incident but when we hit 10k feet my door flew open.

After we returned to terra firma I had them refund the remaining 9 lessons.
