Just got this Craftsman C3 impact gun an hour ago. $42 shipped...was $119+ something.
I have 3 other C3 tools...I like them.
Anyway, Holy Jumpin' Baby Jesus...this thing drives deck screws like I've never witnessed.

I was on a road trip a few weeks ago and I drove by a Sears in Flagstaff and just had to stop. I haven't been to one in ages. I didn't look at any of the craftsman tools for long but I did leave with some sweet Knipex pliers.

ooh, I love Knipex. Their side cutters can clip your fingernails.

I've had C3 tools since 2006. I switched my C3 stuff over to Lithium/Ion batteries a couple of years ago. While I've soured on Sears in general, C3 is top-notch stuff.

Can you use your old charger w/the new style batts?

No, you need a different charger of the LIon stuff. I think I've spent around $100 on three LIon batteries (waited for them to go on sale) + charger. I used to have six NiMh batteries and two chargers to be able to use them continuously. Now three LIon batteries and one charger does the trick.

Thought so.

Showin' off my ensemble that I've accumulated over the years.
Most used are the circular & the 3/8 drill.
That jig (behind the circular) has a laser & it came a week ago...ordered it when my electric jig started getting hot when I was cutting a moto windscreen. Took it down, greased everything but she still had no poop.
By the time the new jig arrived, I was done cutting.
Anyway, Happy C3-ing, all.

No C3 rig is complete without the tire inflator!

Yes, moot if you have a compressor.
