Former ‘Top Gear’ Hosts to Launch New Auto Series for Amazon Prime
According to the articles I have read on this, it will debut next year. Amazon has given them "free creative rein to make the shows they want."

I like Prime for the free shipping and movies, but this is gonna make Prime even better!

Guess I need to become a Prime member.....
I'm just glad to see them back. |
Clarkson is going to have a field day without network censors.

Whooo Hooo.
I am glad I am a prime member and have my TV and iPhone and laptop and iPad "primed" and ready. That will be great. |
If they only get 1/10th the viewers, that will more than double the current Amazon Prime streaming viewership
|
I'm liking it. If the show costs anywhere from 500k to 1 million per episode, just an additional 1m Prime members will make it worthwhile.

Was thinking of getting prime anyway for the no-cost 2 day shipping. Last order I placed added around $15 for shipping. I think it will pay for itself over the year if they keep the cost to $99 for prime. What ever they call it, Clarkson, May and Hammond will probably cause me to switch to Amazon Prime from Netflix.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say that maybe Clarkson without a filter may not be as good. I always found it funny when he had to self-censor or allude to his point instead of saying something outright. |
Can't wait. Should be fun to watch!

It is great for Amazon. The same week that they overtake Wal Mart for the value of the company, they sign the deal. Wal Mart is powerless to stop Amazon. They can't go open up a store down the street from Amazon and sell for less. |
