iPad question - why is the CNN app so large?
 

My wife's iPad is running out of room, so we were looking at what was using up the hard drive - and found that the CNN app uses 1.1G! I don't even like CNN, but she does....anyway, why is it so big, and is there any way of getting it to use less space?

The CNN-app for the iPhone is 33MB large, so it seems that they are storing very much in the apps own cache?

My guess is that it downloads all of the stuff that she reads, videos she watches, etc... there's probably a way to clear that stuff out via settings.
